We are looking for a Data Scientist who will be responsible for compiling actionable insights from data and assisting program, sales and marketing managers build data-driven processes. This role will involve driving initiatives to optimize for operational excellence and revenue.
Ensure that data flows smoothly from source to destination so that it can be processed
Utilize strong database skills to work with large, complex data sets to extract insights
Filter and cleanse unstructured (or ambiguous) data into usable data sets that can be analyzed to extract insights and improve business processes
Identify new internal and external data sources to support analytics initiatives and work with appropriate partners to absorb the data into new or existing data infrastructure
Work closely with top management to prioritize information and analytic needs through clear and summary reports
Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify issues and use data to propose solutions for effective decision.
Mine and analyze data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques and business strategies.
Identify relevant data sources and sets to mine for client business needs, and collect large structured and unstructured datasets and variables
Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
Masters in a quantitative field (such as Mathematical Engineering, Physics, Statistics). PhD are preferred.
At least 3 years of work experience.
Knowledge of, at least, one of these products: Tableau, Alterix, Palantir
Ability to program in various language is required. Familiarity with Phyton is preferred.
Familiar with database technologies and tools (SQL/R/SAS/JMP etc.), data warehousing, transformation and processing.
Proven problem solving and debugging skills.
A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
